Commander Mac Campari was supposed to be alone.

But what he didn’t expect was the creeping feeling that something was watching him. Or what being away from his family could do to him.
At first, it was just whispers. Fleeting shadows in the corner of his eye. Time slipped in ways he couldn’t explain. He convinced himself it was stress, exhaustion, the side effects of prolonged solitude.
Until the footprints appeared in the Martian dust.
Until he saw something move in the ship’s reflection.
Until he realized that whatever had followed him from Mars was still with him.
Heading back to Earth, Mac must confront the possibility that he is not alone aboard the Odyssey One. Did his mind fracture under pressure, or is he bringing something else home with him?
