Alec’s Adventure in Wander Land

A whimsical, mind-bending, and laugh-out-loud fantasy adventure for curious kids and anyone who’s ever asked, “What if?”

Twelve-year-old Alec McTavish has never fit neatly into the world around him. While other kids play video games or obsess over sports, Alec asks questions like, “Why don’t cats have eyebrows?” or “What if thunder is just a cloud burping?” Most people call him weird. His parents say he’s “a little too curious.” Alec prefers the term “interested in everything.”

But one painfully boring summer day, a strange envelope appears out of nowhere, labeled:

“To be opened only in a state of extreme boredom.”

Alec opens it, and the world flips inside out.

Welcome to Wander Land, a place where logic loops sideways, bureaucrats are roller-skating flamingos, and abandoned ideas come to life. Here, Alec meets a grumpy turtle tour guide, a burping fire extinguisher with knightly ambitions, and Professor Featherwiggle, a floating professor made of clouds and questions.

As Alec journeys through backward forests, impossible mazes, and castles with identity crises, he’s challenged not just by riddles and talking furniture, but by something far more personal: his own doubts. To get home, Alec must face the biggest question of all: What do you believe about yourself when the world stops making sense?

Heartfelt, hilarious, and packed with absurd adventure, Alec’s Adventures in Wander Land is a celebration of imagination, courage, and the magic that happens when curiosity refuses to sit still.
